Fans of Ghanaian sensational Akuapem rapper Koo Ntakra are pushing him to go in for a lyrical battle to seek attention for his brand.
Koo Ntakra is one of the fast-rising young rappers in Ghana and is considered as one of the major proponents of 'Akuapem Rap'. Koo Ntakra soared to the limelight after being crowned the Champion of the annual 'MTN Hitmaker Reality TV music contest, beating over thousands who entered into the competition in 2013. After emerging the winner of the reality show, he served Ghanaians with back to back hit songs and had collaborations with the top artiste. His numerous performances gained him the opportunity to share the same stage with international arts including; Davido, WizBoy & WondaBoy from Nigeria, as well as Sarkodie, Samini, D-Black, Shatta Wale and many more from Ghana. Along the line, he got missing from the system which kept his fans starving for his rap.

Today in an exclusive interview with Zeal Nana Kwaku on Homebase TV whiles discussing his new song titled ‘Gbelemi’, the line of discussion had to change as fans were calling on the show asking Koo Ntakra to create a lyrical war to project him to limelight again.
However, Koo Ntakra also responded to the calls saying “Ghanaian rappers are afraid of my punches and maybe they don’t understand my words, I brought out lyrical war as well as lyrical battle titled “rap lesson 2” but so far no one has responded”.
