Ghanaian legendary backing vocalist Nana Ama Dadzie well known as Nana Ama has finally received a citation of honor after 20 years in the music industry.
Not long ago, stormcitygh.org reported about the fact that Nana Ama claims backing vocalists in Ghana are not been recognized.
On Sunday the 12th of July 2020, Habyba the host of the Habyba show on 7DS TV honored her all in the name of believing in her hard work and contribution to the Ghana music industry. Nana Ama is one of the few backing vocalists not forgetting Paulina Oduro among others who made songs enjoyable back in the days.
Nana Ama has been a backup singer for people like Aketekyie, Sony Achiba, Obrafour, Edem, Black Rasta, Buk Bak, Kwaade, and many more.
Her journey as a backup singer has come a very long way so therefore it is a step in the right direction for the industry to celebrate people like her.
