Funny face is still in his elements. As jovial as he is known to be, the comedian/actor after spending weeks at the psychiatric hospital and police custody narrates his ordeal in an amusing way. Speaking on the issues to the host of Zylofon Fm’s morning show Sammy flex, the comedian shared rib cracking, yet emotional experiences in his trial times.
In a video sighted on ‘Gyata Nation’ on YouTube, the actor in an interview on Showbiz Agenda, gave details of his encounter with the Ghana psychiatric hospital, following an order by the Ofankor Circuit Court, to have his mental status checked after his arrest in his house at Kasoa. He factiously gave an emotional account of his depressed moments amidst the social media hullaballoos and how he nearly committed suicide.
Featuring on Kobena Richiz’s song titled ‘Higher’ (remix), the Kasoa Vandamme poured his heart out after all he has been through in those seemingly unending tunnels of grieve.
Born Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, The Ghanaian Actor/Comedian popularly known as FunnyFace was arrested by the Ghana police following a report of causing a disturbance at a local bar. Police investigations report by the Central Police PRO, DSP Irene Serwaa Oppong, points out to the actor returning to fire gunshots at the bar after a misunderstanding between him and the bar owner which led to his arrest at his Kasoa residence.
