326 Recruits Pass out At Koforidua Training School June 2021


A pass-out parade has been held for 326 policemen recruits at the Regional Police Training School Koforidua in the Eastern region.


Unlike national training schools, these recruits are luckily to be all men.


The recruits were taken through community policing, police service regulation, the law of evidence, criminal procedure, criminal law, service instruction, professional policing ethics, criminal investigations, human rights among other courses.



Commissioner of Police, COP Tetteh was the review officer. Addressing the recruits,  Cop Tetteh said the passing out parade was significant in that it marked the end of the busy training of recruits on parade with another being that it opens a new chapter for their career as police officers.


He congratulated the commanding officer of the Regional Police Training School, Sup. Mrs. Charity O.  Amankwah, instructors, and her supporting staff for working hard to train the recruits and bringing them to the level that was being witnessed.


He urged the instructors to continue this exercise of producing the men of the noble profession.


“On behalf of the IGP and the Police administration, I commend recruits graduating today for t

heir comportment during the training which has to enable you to usher yourselves into the full position of a constable as you embark upon your career."

Awards were given to deserving recruits who excelled in various disciplines.

The award for Best in Drill was given to G.R Daniel Kweku Narteh, whiles Marksman- KENNETH DONKOR, Best in conduct EBENEEZER AMISSAH

 and the overall best recruit goes to JOSEPH CHARWAY ODOTEI
