A Nigerian comedian claims that Christian Atsu paid for his tuition.

 


Nigerian comedian and sketch creator Craze Clown, also known as Emmanuel Iwueke, who is among those mourning his loss, disclosed that Atsu had covered his school tuition up till his graduation after the death of his father, revealed that Atsu had done so

When Craze Clown's father passed away, the football player, who had been supporting him since 2015, reportedly contacted out to provide assistance. 

In a tribute, the comedian thanked Atsu for his friendship and support and said he would miss him dearly.

In the aftermath of the terrible earthquake that struck Turkey on February 6, Atsu was discovered dead beneath the debris. 



Atsu  had a career that spanned several European teams, including Chelsea, FC Porto, Newcastle United, Everton, and Bournemouth.

On Sunday, February 5, Atsu scored his first goal for the team since joining Hatayaspor in September of last year, just hours before the natural calamity that has claimed more than 45,000 lives.
