Akuapem Poloo will be appear
before the court today July 3, 2020, according to sources at the Criminal
Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service.
Her conduct according to police, investigators are a violation of Section 280 and 280, Sub-section 25 of the Criminal Act of 1960 which prohibits the willful and intentional indecent exposure of one’s s nakedness or genitals in any public place or platform.
She faces two charges of indecent assault to wit and obscenity and could be jailed up to three years or more if found guilty.

The Ministry through a statement condemned the action of the actress which they described as indecent exposure, it also said
it is working with the appropriate authorities to ensure that the issue is
dealt with.
It reminded the general public that posting of
nudes on all social media platforms is an offense and therefore the public must
desist from it.
